Music, like roses
call us together today
to share in joy sublime,
in gales of laughter
like the high notes
playing trills
and bobbity bobs
we dance on our toes
Marionettes are we
spinning in place
to the lilt
of a magic key
listen to the song
of the rose
dancing upon the keys
can you hear the joy
the peals of laughter
like a child
on christmas
playing with her
new jewelry box
painted roses
playing melodies
that bring joy sublime.
